Если появляется ошибка Ricoh (высвечивается на табло некоторый код ошибки), необходимо принять решение о возможном самостоятельном устранении сбоя или – что очень желательно – обратиться в сервисный центр Ricoh.

Ricoh Aficio ошибка SC 542

Ошибка SC 542-это ошибка предохранителя температуры разогрева. Температура печки превышает на 7 градусов меньше чем за две секунды, и это продолжается 5 раза подряд. Или, необходимая температура печки не обнаруживается в течение 25 или 35 секунд.

Возможные причины ошибки:

• Неисправный термистор
• Неправильная установка термистора
• Неисправная лампа нагрева
• Неисправный блок питания

Как и другие печные ошибки ( SC541 , SC543 , SC544 , SC545 , SC546 ) код SC542 относится к категории Level A, с процедурой сброса:

Для предотвращения повреждения аппарата возобновление работы возможно только после сброса ошибки представителем сервисной службы. После выполнения процедуры в SP режиме выключите и включите аппарат.

Данное правило введено из соображений безопасности, так как неисправный термоэлемент может быть причиной возгорания. Однако, SC541 и SC542 возникают при значениях температуры или скорости нагрева ниже номинальных. В свою очередь, причиной недогрева могут быть как неисправность копировального аппарата, так и различные внешние факторы и их комбинации. Например, низкая температура в помещении, нестабильное напряжение в точке подключения копировального аппарата, серийная печать на плотной бумаге. Если виновник ошибки устранен, то ошибка по недогреву может быть сброшена самостоятельно.

Удаление ошибки производится в Сервисном режиме (SP Mode), для входа в который необходимо последовательно нажать кнопку сброса (желтая), клавиши 1, 0, 7 и нажать и удерживать в течение 3 секунд клавишу стоп (красная). После входа в режим необходимо выключить аппарат главным выключателем. После повторного включения ошибка будет сброшена. Повторное ее появление говорит о том, что факторы влияющие на недогрев термоэлемента не устранены, либо требуется замена/ремонт узла закрепления копировального аппарата.

Actually the code is for fuser. Here you go.

To get in the service mode is reset 107 hold clear button.
To clear out the code go into service mode turn off and on machince. If that does not work. The solution is below. Hope this helps.

«clear modes», 1, 0 , 7, then (hold) «clear/stop» for a few seconds until «sp mode» comes up. turn main power off/on (red switch).
If code comes back there is trouble with the fuser that needs to be repaired to clear code permanently.

You may try first to reset the SC 542 before calling a technician!

That you can do by following method:

1.Turn the machine off and then after 5 second turn it on while pressing the “On Line” key and “Escape” key together until “SYSTEMver x.xx/1. Service” shows on the display.
2.Use the “Up/Down arrow” keys to scroll through the menu listing.
3. Press the (OK) key while on the display writes » 2. Engine » .
4.go to «[5810 001] — Fusing SC Reset» by scrolling the “Up/Down arrow” keys and press the [OK] key (on the display should write execute or done) press [OK] again if is needed to press it.
5. After this turn off and than after 5 second turn it on the machine.
Please do not change nothing else in this menu only reset the fusing unit SC code, because if you change some other values and settings you might to regret that and pay high price for that.
So only reset the Fuser SC code SC542 by the upper mentioned method and do nothing else, if the SC code appear again then do not try this again because you might burn some parts.
If this do not help than call the technician.

ves revisa el tesmistor, el fusible que esta al lado hizquierdo del tesrmistor o si no pruba la continuidad de la lampara fusora que puede estar abierta despues de esto entra al modo de servicio, engine, luego al punto 5.mode despues con las flechas de arriba abajo localiza sc reset le das enter, prendes y apagas y problema solucionado espero te allude esa fue mi solución y te cuento que esta trabajando la lampara fusora estaba abierta.

Turns out error SC542 indicates a fuser temperature problem. Once the error is detected, the printer is toast until you manually clear the error from the keypad. Even though the printer is physically fine, it won’t come ready until the prior error condition is cleared.
A few phone calls with our local Ricoh service rep, and he admitted that the printer might trip this error in a power brownout.
The printer was less than 30 days old and the error was caused by the brownout or the fuser failed. I kept calling the Ricoh rep, and they finally gave me the magic keystrokes over the phone.
I did the magic keystrokes, cleared the error code, and the printer worked fine. It’s been working great for a year now.
I hope someone else who has this problem finds this page and is able to fix the problem also. I didn’t find any help on the net when I searched.

The Fix In order to clear error SC542, you must perform procedure 5810.

• Press and hold online + escape, then power on.
• Use up and down arrow keys to select SP2
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arror to locate SP5
• Press Enter
• Use up and down arrow keys to select 810
• Press Enter
• Confirm the selection
• Power off and on.

The error code is now cleared.
